Ten lucky nurses of Windsor Regional Hospital in Ontario took home a $1 million Lotto Max Max Millions prize for the November 18, 2011 draw. They now have the opportunity to live their dreams to the max.
The nurses from Windsor matched all seven draw numbers to gather $1,000,000.
Darlene Mailloux, the group leader, said in an interview that she screamed when she realized that she won. She laughed and said that she could not believe it.
The lottery group is composed of ten nurses, five of them retired. The operating room forged their friendship and they formed a group. They have been friends and playing the lottery for 25 years now.
The nurses have similar plans how to spend their windfall, such as sharing their winnings with their family, going on a trip for a vacation and making some investments.
The lucky ticket was bought at Stop 42 on County Road in Windsor .
